Guraidhoo Dream

This dive site, known as Guraidhoo Dream, offers an amazing channel crossing experience from Medhu Faru to Guraidhoo corner in the Maldives. It is exclusively for experienced divers due to the necessity of a small incoming current to navigate the channel. The use of an underwater scooter is highly recommended to enhance the dive experience and assist with current management, highlighting the challenging yet rewarding nature of this site. Divers at Guraidhoo Dream can expect a breathtaking array of marine life, particularly large pelagic species. Frequently observed animals include gray and white tip reef sharks, impressive schools of eagle rays, stingrays, and various trevally species such as school of trevallies and giant trevallies. Dogtooth tunas, green and hawksbill turtles, mantas, and mobula rays are also commonly sighted, making it a prime location for big animal encounters. To experience Guraidhoo Dream at its best, it is crucial to time the dive with a small incoming current, which acts as a magnet for the diverse marine fauna. This current brings nutrients into the channel, attracting the large fish and rays that frequent the area. Due to its challenging conditions, it is not suitable for snorkeling or freediving.
