About this dive site
This dive site, Kuda faru, is a notable location in North West. It's described as a finger of reef extending into the channel from Makunudu kandu, resembling a thila. The top of this reef structure reaches approximately 13 meters and extends for about 50 meters. A sand saddle separates it from the main reef at 15 meters. The southern side connects to Makunudu kandu. The west side features a steeper drop-off, making it an ideal area for observing sharks. At a depth of around 25 meters to the southwest, you’ll find an overhang covered in soft corals. Visibility is good and conditions are generally favorable for diving.
