This dive site is located in the Maldives and represents a captivating channel experience. The entire area has been designated as a protected marine zone, adding to its allure. This drift dive takes advantage of currents – both incoming and outgoing – offering abundant underwater activity. Visibility may be limited, but the rewards are substantial. The south side boasts impressive rock formations covered in soft corals and teeming with diverse reef fish, while the north side features a prominent cave, 33 meters (108 feet) deep, known for its potential encounters with grey reef sharks. Further exploration reveals additional caves and overhangs at greater depths along the outer reef edge, making it an excellent location for underwater photography. The protected status of this area helps preserve the rich biodiversity found within.
