About this dive site
This dive site, known as Neregado, offers a compelling underwater experience. The location features dramatic steep walls that descend into deep blue waters, creating ideal conditions for spotting large shark species. Tiger sharks, thresher sharks, oceanic blacktips, and occasionally even great hammerhead sharks are commonly seen here, particularly during the early morning when their activity levels increase due to the proximity of the open ocean. Beyond sharks, Neregado is a vibrant marine environment. Schools of tuna, jacks, and barracudas frequently patrol these waters, while graceful eagle rays and oceanic mantas may also be observed. Strong currents are present at this site, providing an exhilarating drift dive for experienced divers. The underwater landscape is enriched by coral formations decorating the slopes.
