The Scorpion

This dive site, 'The Scorpion', is a small Giri located west of Medhufushi Island in the Maldives, renowned for its perfect dive conditions. The Giri is characterized by a series of captivating caverns encircling the island at approximately 10 meters depth, some extending deeper to 30 meters. Divers can explore these unique formations, navigating through ridges and sandy stretches that separate the caverns, providing a varied underwater landscape. The caverns and surrounding areas are teeming with a vibrant array of marine life. Common sightings include numerous soldier fish, large rock cod, surgeon fish, sweet lips, and various snappers.
