About this dive site

This dive site, known as Cirkewwa Arch and its variations – Right Arch, Green Arch Reef, and Right Reef – offers a fascinating underwater experience. Located near the town of Mellieħa in Malta, it’s easily accessible from shore. This natural archway is actually a collapsed cavern roof, creating a striking feature at approximately 12 meters below sea level, with an elevation of 8 meters above the seabed. The area surrounding the Arch presents several caves and tunnels to explore, forming part of a larger reef system extending beyond the Arch – referred to as Reef Beyond Rozi. This reef reaches depths exceeding 40 meters along the wall. Entry is convenient via a large stride entry point, mirroring the access used for the nearby Tugboat Rozi wreck dive. A combined dive with the wreck is possible. The reef itself stretches out to around 20 meters and offers plenty of small caves and hangouts. The site is considered suitable for beginners.

There are other arches in the area including Left Arch or White Arch, found at Paradise Bay reef. This location features a high popularity level.
