About this dive site
This dive site, known as Patrol Boat 31 (P31), is a fascinating wreck located off the coast of Comino island. It’s the only wreck available in that area. The boat was scuttled in 2009 by the Armed Forces of Malta to create an underwater attraction for experienced wreck divers. Originally a patrol vessel measuring 52 meters in length and 7 meters wide, P31 now rests upright on the sandy seabed at depths ranging from 18 to 20 meters, with the upper portion reaching approximately 7 meters. The dive offers a unique opportunity to explore a historic vessel and experience the underwater environment of Comino. It’s suitable for beginners and those with some diving experience. The location is pinpointed by coordinates: 36.0090°N 14.3231°E.
