About this dive site
This dive site features the C-53, a 184-foot long Mexican Navy Minesweeper that was sunk in June 2000. The wreck rests on a sandy bottom at approximately 27.4 meters (80 feet) and has been fitted with large openings to allow divers easy access inside and out. Inside the ship, you'll find a diverse ecosystem including Lobster, Crab, Eels, schools of Glassy Sweepers, and Sardines. Outside, Barracuda and Grouper are frequently observed. Divers should also be aware that the Atlantis Submarine is sometimes spotted visiting this location.
