Mia Reef at Isla Mujeres is a shore snorkeling place in a protected cove with shallow waters, great for beginners to see small fish and corals near the shore.
You can walk to the bridge from the right side of the beach, you can snorkel in the shallow bay near an old house. It's good for beginners as there is no boat traffic.
The snorkeling is great for beginners, but for experienced snorkelers, there isn't that much fish to see.
