About this dive site

This dive site is located near Playas Las Gemelas, just under 200 meters from the beach. It’s a well-established area with a history dating back to 2016, where PRINCESA VALLARTA, one of the boats that previously served snorkeling trips between Los Arcos and Las Animas, now rests. The maximum depth around this location is approximately 125 feet. It's affectionately known as "señorita" by locals and offers a gentle diving experience. You don’t need to be certified for advanced open water diving to explore this area, but it’s recommended to have some prior experience with deeper dives due to the depth of the site. Currents are generally light. As you descend, around 55 feet, you'll likely encounter a mid-sized sailboat – probably between 30 and 35 feet in length. Continuing north-west, you will see another one or two sailboats appearing over the next few minutes. At approximately 70 feet, you’ll find the "princess" herself, with the bottom reaching down to 90 feet. This area is known for hosting sea turtles and occasionally large groupers. It's a beautiful spot with interesting underwater features.
