De Groene Heuvels

This dive site, known as 'de Groene Heuvels', is located west of Nijmegen, easily accessible via the A50 highway. The area offers ample parking for divers and recreational users. It's a suitable location for both beginners and experienced divers alike, thanks to its accessibility and varied underwater features. Several sunken objects are present in the lake, providing interesting exploration opportunities. The maximum diving depth at this site is 28 meters. A notable characteristic of 'de Groene Heuvels' is the changing underwater landscape throughout the year; observers can witness seasonal adaptations of aquatic life. Various fish species inhabit the area, including pike, carp, sturgeon, roach, and freshwater crayfish.
