About this dive site
This dive site, Ngaio Rock, is a small rock formation rising from the sand at the western end of the Labrid Channel. The rock’s steep walls are covered in abundant marine life and offer a rewarding experience for divers. Circumnavigating the rock provides excellent exploration opportunities. It's a fantastic snorkeling location with vibrant colours and diverse aquatic life visible just beneath the surface. Be aware of the current that flows through the channel. Divers can explore depths ranging from 5 meters to over 40 meters, depending on their experience and ability. Those comfortable with deeper dives can reach depths exceeding 40 meters at the base of the rock. Alternatively, a reef system nearby leads to Magic Wall. This site presents an enjoyable diving or freediving adventure for all skill levels.
