This dive site, Brother’s Napaling Reef, is located north of Panglao Island in the Philippines. It is easily accessible, being a short drive from the local airport. The site is notable for its unique entry point, offering opportunities for cliff diving, and features an artificially raised coral reef that starts immediately upon entry without requiring a wall descent. The average depth is 11 meters, reaching a maximum of 22 meters.
The vibrant artificial reef at Brother's Napaling is teeming with marine life. Divers and snorkelers can expect to encounter large schools of sardines, sleek jackfish with tuna-like shapes, and iconic Nemo (clownfish) among the richly colored corals. The site promises a diverse array of fish and other small reef inhabitants.
The site is suitable for visiting year-round, with the dry season (November to April) generally offering the best weather and calmest seas in the Philippines. Its varied depths make it excellent for both snorkeling in the shallow 3-meter areas and freediving or scuba diving to its maximum depth. Divers should enjoy the dense fish populations and healthy coral.
