About this dive site

This dive site, named after Cesar Apuhin who discovered it in the 1980s, is located off the coast of Dapitan in the Philippines. Situated within the Dapitan Bay, it’s accessible by boat approximately 20 minutes from the mainland. It's a popular destination for divers of all levels, offering a diverse underwater experience. The reef boasts vibrant coral formations and an abundance of tropical fish. Sea turtles are also frequently observed here. Visibility typically ranges from 15 to 30 meters depending on seasonal conditions. Maximum depth is around 30 meters, making it suitable for both novice and experienced divers. It's a great location for underwater photography and videography due to the clear waters and plentiful marine life.
