This dive site is the training pool located within Silver Reef Dive Resort in the Philippines. Designed specifically for entry-level dive students, it provides a controlled saltwater environment with easy access just steps from the classroom. With a deep end of 5 meters, it allows students to practice skills and experience pressure necessary for early equalization in a safe, predictable setting.
As a man-made pool, there is no natural marine life or plant ecosystem present. Divers might occasionally encounter an insect that has fallen into the water, but the primary focus of this site is training, not wildlife observation.
This training pool is suitable for use year-round, as weather conditions have minimal impact on its calm, controlled environment. It is ideal for new scuba divers to master foundational skills before heading to open water, and also serves as a perfect location for freedivers to practice breath-hold techniques and equalization in a shallow, predictable depth.
