This dive site, known as White House, is primarily a wall dive located within the Vigen marine sanctuary. The dive begins on a beautiful coral garden plateau at around 5 meters, making it accessible for a range of dive levels. The wall itself features interesting cracks and overhangs, creating a canyon-like topography as it descends to a sandy bottom that ranges from 20 to 30 meters. A mooring buoy is present for easy boat access.
The vibrant coral garden on the plateau is home to numerous turtles. Descending further, the sandy bottom transforms into an excellent muck diving area, perfect for macro enthusiasts. Divers can expect to encounter fascinating creatures such as garden eels, the elusive dragon seamoth, and various species of colorful nudibranchs among the small stuff.
While specific best times to visit are not provided, the Philippines generally offers excellent diving conditions from November to May. This site is ideal for both scuba divers and freedivers due to its diverse depth profile, with the shallow coral garden offering great snorkeling and freediving opportunities. Macro photographers will particularly enjoy the muck dive section.
