This dive site, located on the Peninsula of Leleskie Lake, offers an intriguing underwater experience in Poland. Access can be slightly challenging due to a narrow gate, but entry into the water from the shore is convenient. The bottom quickly drops off, leading to a unique artificial reef. Divers can follow a railing at about 12 meters depth to a car wreck, and from there, another line guides to a platform at 18 meters, creating an interesting navigational trail beyond the stated maximum depth for the general site.
The lake is home to a variety of freshwater species including common pike, European eel, common perch, bream, and roach. A rare highlight are the freshwater sponges, not commonly found in Polish lakes. This diverse aquatic life provides excellent opportunities for observing typical European freshwater fauna.
While specific best times for visibility or animal encounters are not detailed, temperate seasons (late spring to early autumn) are generally best for diving in lakes. The site is suitable for both scuba divers and freedivers due to its varied depths. Snorkelers can also enjoy the shallower areas. Be prepared for potentially cooler water temperatures typical of inland lakes in Poland and navigate carefully to deeper wrecks.
