About this dive site

This dive site is located in a bay on the islet of Vila Franca, and while it's particularly well-suited for beginner divers, it offers something for experienced enthusiasts as well. The seabed features a mix of reef and sand, providing diverse habitat for an array of marine life. You’ll likely encounter brown dansel fish, stingrays, wide-eyed flounders, wrasses, dusky groupers, and even octopus. A significant historical feature is the presence of two bronze cannons from the 16th century, which are positioned at a depth of only five meters – allowing for easy viewing and research. The dive offers a relaxed and unhurried experience. Visibility may vary.
