This dive site features a dramatic near vertical wall extending parallel to the shore. The area is known for its abundance of soft corals, creating a vibrant underwater landscape. Generally mild currents are present, making it suitable for a range of experience levels. Divers often encounter schools of Yellow Snapper and Creole Wrasse as they explore the wall. The top portion of the wall provides an ideal location for conducting a safety stop, surrounded by Blue Chromis and other colorful reef fish. It’s important to note that this is a protected marine reserve (Luis Pena Marine Reserve) with strict regulations in place. No removal of any marine life or materials is permitted. Fishing, spearfishing, lobstering, or taking animals of any kind is prohibited. Lionfish may be taken only with the appropriate permit from the Department of Resource and Natural Areas (DRNA). Day use mooring balls are available for a single boat, limited to an 8-hour maximum duration; overnight stays and rafting are not allowed.
