This dive site, Apnea Arena within the AVTOTOR Arena Sports Palace, is one of Russia and Europe's largest freediving schools. Opened in late 2020, it boasts over 42 thousand square meters dedicated to multifunctional sports, primarily freediving. As an indoor pool environment, navigation is straightforward within the designated training areas, offering a controlled setting for skill development.
Being an artificial indoor facility, this dive site does not host any marine animals or plant life. The focus is entirely on human performance and training in a sterile, aquatic environment.
The Apnea Arena is ideal for year-round freediving training, especially during the winter months when natural outdoor conditions are unfavorable. It is perfectly suited for all levels, from beginners learning to hold their breath to advanced freedivers refining their techniques.
