Sharm Yanbu (شرم ينبع)

This dive site, Sharm Yanbu, is a calm and shallow haven located north of Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. Its maximum depth of 12 meters makes it exceptionally safe and accessible for divers of all skill levels, particularly beginners and those undertaking discovery scuba dives. The site features a small, easily navigable wreck, adding an element of interest to the dive. There is little to no historical information about the wreck itself. The marine life at Sharm Yanbu is surprisingly diverse and vibrant. Divers can expect to encounter turtles, lionfish, and stonefish, along with a variety of colorful reef fish and corals. The occasional dolphin sighting adds an element of excitement to the dive. The coral reefs themselves provide a stunning backdrop, creating a beautiful underwater landscape. The best time to visit Sharm Yanbu is during the warmer months, from April to October, when water temperatures are most pleasant and visibility is at its best.
