Sheraton Beach Resort

This dive site is located at the Sheraton Beach Resort in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, offering easy shore access to a typical Red Sea reef. The dive site is relatively shallow with a maximum depth of 19 meters, making it suitable for divers of all levels. Navigation is straightforward, generally following the reef line and exploring small channels. There is no known specific historical significance to the dive site itself, though it's part of a larger ecosystem along the Saudi Red Sea coast. The marine life is varied and abundant. You can expect to encounter a wide array of Red Sea reef fish, including colorful corals and smaller invertebrates. A resident octopus inhabits a nearby channel, and snake eels are occasionally sighted. Dolphins are known to pass through the area, particularly in the early morning hours. The best time to visit is during the cooler months (November to April) when the water is clearer and the marine life is most active. Divers and freedivers will find excellent conditions throughout the year as the water remains relatively warm.
