About this dive site
This dive site is located a short swim from the shore in Plettenberg Bay. It features a trio of pinnacles, which offers a fantastic experience for photographers. This reef supports a diverse range of fish species and serves as a nursery ground during the summer months. Summer also brings sightings of ragged-tooth sharks, alongside pajama sharks, leopard sharks, and puffadder shy sharks – all observed year-round. Divers often encounter rays, cuttlefish, and boxfish on their approach to the reef. The reef itself is home to an array of fascinating creatures including nudibranchs, octopus, sea spiders, and scorpion fish, making it ideal for close-up macro photography. Visibility is excellent.
