About this dive site

This dive site is located near Alcala, accessible via a staircase with a ladder in the port area. Entry can be achieved using a high tide giant stride if necessary, or by descending in shallow water through a bay filled with moorings and volcanic rocks. The area offers a fascinating exploration experience. A sandy patch leads to an underwater pinnacle that gently surfaces at low tide – a central feature of this dive. Small caverns within the pinnacle are home to trumpfish and abundant fish shoals, while an arch is found on its back side. Beyond the pinnacle lies a second wall descending to 14 meters before opening into a sandy area extending towards the open sea. Keep an eye out for hidden octopus, cuttlefish, and baby barracudas in the shallow bay. This site provides opportunities to observe a variety of marine life.
