About this dive site
This dive site, located in the eastern part of El Toro Island, offers a diverse underwater experience. The area features a natural rock platform extending to approximately 5-6 meters deep, providing easy access for divers of all levels. Beyond this shallows, a steep wall descends to 18 meters, gradually softening into a gentler slope before reaching a sandy space at 40 meters. This location is considered ideal for both new and experienced divers (Open Water Divers and those with Advanced Open Water certifications). A particularly noteworthy feature is ‘The Aquarium,’ an accumulation of rocks teeming with life including fish, crustaceans, and moray eels – a testament to the area’s rich marine ecosystem.
