This dive site, Illes Bledes, is located within the Cabrera Archipelago National Park, accessible only by boat. It offers a relaxed diving experience with an underwater landscape characterized by interesting rock formations, extensive posidonia meadows, and numerous cavities to explore. Navigation is straightforward, following the island's contours, making it suitable for divers of all experience levels.
The diverse marine ecosystem here includes groupers as a predominant species, barracudas often seen alone or in impressive schools, and rays gracefully resting on the seabed or swimming by. A special mention is made for the 'cigarras de mar' (slipper lobsters), which can be found hiding in the various crevices and underhangs, along with other smaller invertebrates and fish typical of the Mediterranean.
The best time to visit this dive site, like much of the Mediterranean, is typically during the warmer months from late spring through early autumn when water temperatures are comfortable and marine activity is high. Its 'all levels' suitability makes it perfect for training dives or leisurely explorations, and the shallow average depth combined with interesting topography also makes it highly recommended for freedivers and snorkelers.
