About this dive site

This dive site is located in Caló d'en Monjo bay, Spain, nestled between two cliffs. The main attraction is a 30-meter tunnel starting at 6 meters depth, leading divers through the cliffs. Navigating the tunnel requires careful buoyancy control and attention to orientation. Beyond the tunnel, a cavern with an air bubble and a large arch awaits at 18 meters. The site is relatively easy to access from the shore.

The rich marine life includes barracudas, octopuses, poseidon, shrimps, moray eels, and nudibranchs. The variety of species, particularly the macro life, make this site perfect for photographers and those interested in observing diverse small creatures.

The best time to visit is during the warmer months (spring to autumn) when visibility is generally good. Divers and freedivers should always check current conditions, and maintain safe distance from marine life. Proper planning, a check of the weather conditions and attention to the changing light levels during the day, are all important, especially for freedivers.
