About this dive site

This dive site is the first large artificial reef established in the Mediterranean. Located at a depth of 34 meters, it’s constructed entirely from calcium carbonate rocks (CaCo3) and presents impressive dimensions: 90 meters in length, 60 meters in width, and 24 meters in height. A particularly noteworthy feature is its starting point at -10 meters, offering access to a platform situated at -20 meters – this provides safer and more accessible diving for beginners and open water divers. The reef also boasts vertical walls extending down to -34 meters, with consistently good visibility on one side. It’s an ideal location for advanced, deep diver, nitrox, and current training courses.
