About this dive site
This dive site, known as La Cathedrale, is an underwater extension of a rock formation resembling a cathedral, hence its name. Navigation is straightforward, following the structure's natural formations. The site's depth makes it a unique diving experience in the area.
Marine life abundant here includes lobsters, conger eels, and groupers. Depending on the season, other smaller fish and invertebrate species might also be present. The rock formations themselves provide shelter for a variety of creatures.
The best time to visit La Cathedrale is likely during the warmer months (spring to fall) when water temperatures are more pleasant and visibility is generally better. Due to the depth, proper dive planning, including sufficient air supply and appropriate dive gear, is crucial for safe diving. Freediving is not recommended at this site due to depth.
