This dive site is located between the 'corralón' and the 'tajo Colorao', west of a closed bay, where you’ll find ‘la garita’, named for an old watchtower and an anti-aircraft projector from the coastal artillery batteries. This structure is now abandoned and in a state of significant deterioration. The dive begins using a pre-established mooring line below the projector; descending through the cape brings you to 9 meters, onto a sandy seabed with scattered rocks, surrounded by posidonia seagrass – a sign of exceptionally clear waters. From here, explore this area known for its excellent visibility and abundant marine life. This is an ideal dive for all experience levels, as it’s predominantly a wall dive. The site offers stunning underwater landscapes, including terraces, rock formations, and the remnants of the cliff face, reaching depths up to 29 meters, where you can encounter various nudibranchs, brittlestars, octopuses, morenas, congers, crabs, anemones, sponges, pulps, sargos, groupers, barracudas, castanet fish, and many other Mediterranean species. Enjoy the interplay of light, shadows, and varied colors in this vibrant underwater environment. After exploring, return to the mooring line for your ascent.
