About this dive site
This dive site, located near the Cavallería lighthouse, is renowned for its incredible marine life and considered one of the most beautiful dives in the Marine Reserve. The initial section offers an easy introduction to the underwater environment, featuring large octopus encounters as you begin to explore the diverse ecosystem. After a short distance, you’ll encounter a vertical wall descending to 20 meters. A moderate swim past this wall leads to the Llosa, a remarkable submerged mountain formation. Reaching the Llosa reveals a spectacular seven-meter diameter arch at a depth of 25 meters. This area is typically teeming with a massive school of barracuda, groupers, and rays. Above the arch, you’ll find additional schools of barracuda, groupers, and Sargassum seaweed. Deeper down, larger rays and mero (big-eye) fish can be observed. Depending on conditions, it's possible to spot large golden trevally and dentex as well.
