This dive site, known as Playa Brava (Cueva de Arena), begins from a small cove where the boat typically moors. Divers descend to a rocky seabed that gradually reaches depths of 20 to 25 meters, offering an exploration of the deeper reef before returning to the mooring area. The main highlight is a large cave, approximately 25 meters long, situated at a very accessible depth of just 8 meters.
Marine life at Playa Brava is diverse, encompassing typical species found in the region. The deeper sections of the rocky reef are home to delicate black coral. Inside the captivating cave, divers frequently encounter shrimp, spiny pufferfish, and lobsters, making it a rich spot for macro observations and unique creature sightings.
This site is ideal for exploring both shallow and deeper sections, making it suitable for a wide range of dive levels. The highlight is undoubtedly the cave, providing an exciting experience for both scuba divers and freedivers due to its shallow depth. For those seeking unique macro opportunities and interesting rock formations, Playa Brava offers a rewarding experience.
