This dive site, located on the coast of Hondarribia (Guipuzcoa), is a particularly popular area. It’s situated near the Pasajes River and forms part of the Cabo de Higuer, also known as ‘Playa de los Frailes’. This location benefits from excellent protection due to its surrounding coastline. It's ideal for beginners, introductory courses, baptisms, and night dives thanks to a depth range of 5 to 16 meters. Divers can expect to encounter fascinating marine life such as octopuses, crabs, sea lilies, starfish, sea urchins, and beautiful torpedo fish sheltering beneath the ledges hidden amongst the sand. This dive site is consistently ranked among the top 50 in the country.
