About this dive site
This dive site, known as Punta Marc, is located within the recently expanded "El Toro" nature reserve, now encompassing the Cala Figuera lighthouse. Diving here requires an additional permit due to its protected status. The dive begins from a plateau approximately 5 meters deep, where the boat anchors. Divers can easily reach a maximum depth of 18 meters by heading south along the coastline and following the western wall. This area offers a chance to spot stingrays among the sandy seabed. Expect encounters with barracudas, moray eels, and possibly octopods. Punta Marc is considered an accessible dive site, particularly well-suited for individuals returning to diving after a break or those new to underwater exploration.
