About this dive site

This dive site is a submerged pinnacle, or seamount, located within the renowned Islas Hormigas Marine Reserve. The top of the pinnacle rests at around 25 meters, dropping off to depths greater than 40 meters. Its exposed location often attracts currents, which in turn support a dense congregation of marine life, including large resident groupers, schools of barracuda, and occasionally sunfish.
