About this dive site

This dive site, located in the south of Fuerteventura near the Jandía lighthouse, offers a remarkable underwater experience. The Veril Grande enclave is accessible by boat approximately 200 meters from the beach and caters to divers of all skill levels. The area features a substantial wall that plunges down to around 40 meters, creating an environment rich in marine life. You'll find various species like bream, black moray eels, stingrays, and occasionally angelsharks inhabiting this zone. Closer to the cliff face, garden eels add to the charm. Remarkably, large pelagic creatures such as whale sharks or devil rays have been spotted on occasion. The site’s clarity of water combined with the white sand creates a luminous environment ideal for exploring the diverse underwater ecosystem. Divers can choose to explore the wall itself, navigate through caves present within it, or simply enjoy observing the abundant marine life. The depth range is substantial, allowing for different diving experiences depending on the diver's ability.
