About this dive site

This dive site, located north of Koh Ngam Yai, presents a unique underwater experience. The area consists of scattered rocks that barely rise above the water's surface, creating an unusual diving environment where there isn’t a clear wall side or ocean side. The most notable feature is a Thai shipping vessel that has been gradually breaking apart due to storms and currents over the past two years; this wreck now lies within the reef itself. The maximum depth of this dive reaches 24 meters, with the best visibility and diving conditions typically found between 10 and 15 meters. Snorkeling is also possible as a vibrant hard coral reef extends close to the surface. Hin Pae is teeming with marine life including sea anemones, black corals, butterflyfish, barracuda, stingrays, and turtles.
