Description

Koh Bida Islands, located near the southern tip of Koh Phi Phi, offer a rewarding dive experience. These two small islands are known for their abundant marine life, including turtles and sharks. The site features distinct areas with varying depths and habitats. Bida Nok, the larger island, boasts impressive walls descending to 28 meters, offering fantastic visibility and a diverse coral ecosystem on its western side. The eastern shore provides shallow reefs at just three meters, frequently inhabited by black-tip reef sharks. A large bay area is ideal for skill practice, while a finger reef leads to sandy areas where stingrays can be spotted. Numerous predator fish are commonly seen throughout the site. Bida Nai presents an extraordinary wall dive extending north and northeast from its western side. This wall supports small reef fish, nudibranchs, and shrimps. Large predatory fish often hunt in the blue beyond the wall. A unique fantasy reef, starting at 18 meters and reaching 27 meters, is home to a remarkable number of lionfish. Barracuda, trevally, and rainbow runner schools frequently gather here. A shallow sloping reef on the east side provides excellent conditions for student training. The maximum depth reachable is approximately 28 meters. The dive offers an intermediate level experience.
