About this dive site
This dive site, Franks Crack, is located on the west coast of Atauro Island. It’s a compelling dive featuring a sheer wall covered in coral and marked by a prominent crack running through the reef. The area teems with life; large barrel sponges are frequently found alongside moray eels, lionfish, and scorpionfish nestled within the crevices. Keep an eye out for passing Maori wrasse in the deeper blue waters.
