About this dive site

This dive site, located 1.2 nautical miles from shore, offers a sheltered environment suitable for divers of all levels, particularly those new to diving or when southerly winds are strong. The maximum depth ranges from 5 to 15 meters. A remarkable feature of Frenk Bay is its seabed which is strewn with fascinating Hellenistic and Roman amphora fragments – remnants of ancient trade routes. This site presents an excellent opportunity for exploring historical underwater archaeology, making it a rewarding experience for both novice and experienced divers.
