The dive is best attempted in the mornings when sea conditions are calm, as prevailing winds and surge can make it difficult. Once you descend to approximately 20 meters, heading west will lead you to the entrance of the famous tunnel. Navigation within the tunnel requires attention to depth and direction.

The tunnel itself provides a unique landscape. The marine life is abundant, showcasing several species including sea turtles, various grouper species, lionfish, Mediterranean damselfish, bonito, pufferfish, and cornette fish. The biodiversity around the tunnel entrance and the surrounding area further enriches the experience.

The best time to dive Kaş Tünel is during the calmer morning hours of spring and summer months, when visibility is typically high. Experienced divers will be able to explore the tunnel, while beginners may find it challenging due to confined space. Good buoyancy control is essential throughout the dive.
