About this dive site

This dive site is located south of the popular Blue Cave/Mavi Mağara attraction. The dive begins with a gradual descent along a wall, eventually reaching a rocky shelf characterized by several freshwater springs. Entry is made from a rigid inflatable boat (RIB) positioned on top of a relatively gentle ridge. Divers proceed north over the side of the wall, where numerous underwater caverns are found, with the deepest point at approximately 30 meters. Maintaining good buoyancy is essential for this dive. The wall itself displays vibrant formations like yellow cup corals and sponges. After passing the cavern system, the descent continues to a shelf at around 15 meters. This area is dotted with rocky pinnacles, some of which also harbor freshwater springs. Keep an eye out for interesting marine life such as nudibranchs and occasional moray eels. It’s advisable to ascend slowly, avoiding turning the corner due to potential boat traffic. Remember to deploy your submerged safety marker (DSMB) and perform a safety stop at the appropriate depth.
