About this dive site

This dive site, located off Cape Çondur, offers a fascinating underwater experience. The area is characterized by a shallow reef rising to 8 meters, with tough waves present nearby. It's a historically rich location, featuring an antique wreck site containing numerous amphorae scattered on the southern slope, extending up to 20 meters below. Further along the coast side of the reef, at approximately 35 meters depth, lies the ex-coastguard boat TCSG-119. A little current creates a habitat for striped groupers in the 15-meter channel, providing opportunities for hunting silversides. To the west, divers can explore a mini-canyon along the shore and a chain of rocks below – this area presents considerable commotion and is well worth investigating. Visibility around the reef is likely good due to the relatively shallow depth.
