About this dive site

This dive site offers an interesting exploration of a sheltered bay. Access is typically via a rigid inflatable boat (RIB) just behind a point. Divers can head back east, following a rocky drop-off that reaches approximately 18 meters depth. The route then leads along the wall into the bay where you'll discover remnants of ancient amphorae scattered across the seabed – numerous broken pieces and even an old stone anchor and pithos lid are present. There’s a gradual rise from the wall, leveling off as you continue. Keep an eye out for potential encounters with stingrays or turtles, though sightings aren't guaranteed. A safety stop is recommended under the boat above the posidonia grass. The area has historical significance due to the presence of ancient amphorae and anchors.
