About this dive site

This dive site is located approximately 5 minutes from the diving centre and is frequently used as a first dive of the day for advanced divers, or on night dives. It features Inch 1, a shipwreck donated to us in 2001 and subsequently sunk in 2001. The wreck rests on a sand bottom at a depth of 30 meters. A cyclone caused significant damage, ripping off the wheelhouse and shifting the wreck approximately 50 meters. Today, the site is a vibrant artificial reef, teeming with marine life – so much that it's sometimes necessary to move organisms away to fully appreciate the wreck. You might encounter two resident Honeycomb Moray eels named Fred and Wilma, along with two Seahorses; during the warmer months, four Frog Fish also call this place home. This site is a popular location for technical training dives using rebreathers or sidemount gear.
