About this dive site

This dive site offers a unique shore diving experience centered around two parallel, running surface water pipes. These pipes, approximately 100 meters long, create two substantial reefs that are home to diverse marine life and provide an easy navigation route for divers of all abilities. The pipes were constructed after heavy rainfall, and are currently off-limits due to potential sewage contamination – please exercise caution. The area is characterized by concrete supports on the larger pipe and rocky formations surrounding the smaller one. A small, linked reef exists just northeast of the large pipe. Access is via a sandy beach, and facilities include a pay & display car park with toilet and changing amenities. A seasonal beach office operates during the summer months (opening hours vary), and lifeguard service is available from May to September. Divers should be aware of motorised watercraft, potential rip currents, and entanglement hazards.
