About this dive site

This dive site offers a unique opportunity to participate in a "Dive Against Debris" event. The dive is scheduled for July 29th, with high water at 9:00 PM. To ensure visibility and safety, divers will gear up approximately 2-3 hours before high tide, around 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM. The dive itself will last between 45 minutes and an hour. The plan is to utilize the incoming tide to push us towards shore while undertaking the underwater cleanup efforts. We recommend meeting at 4:30 PM for a briefing and equipment preparation. Divers should bring wetsuits or drysuits as July weather allows, and gloves are strongly advised for protection. If weather conditions prevent diving, the beach clean-up can proceed above the water line. The dive time is planned to maximize daylight exposure.
