About this dive site

This dive site features a substantial granite rock formation rising from the seabed, ranging in depth from 9 meters to approximately 1.5 meters at its highest point. It presents as a nice wall structure with abundant marine life and enjoys sheltered waters, making it suitable for divers of all experience levels. High tides offer easier access and clearer visibility. While an SMB is recommended, the A-flag provides adequate coverage of the dive area. Navigation dives are particularly well-suited to this location.

To reach the site, begin from the slipway heading west. Navigate towards the white house located on Kerrera Island – a bearing will lead you to the 8-meter contour. Continue south along the reef until reaching the outer wall; follow its course back toward shore. The far end of the reef is known for hosting large edible crabs and scallops, offering an exciting opportunity for foraging.

Transit: From the slipway directly west. Take a bearing looking at the white house on Kerrera island directly across the water. Reach the 8mtr contour and follow in the south direction until you hit the reef.
