About this dive site
This dive site is located at Porthkerris beach, offering a rewarding shore diving experience. The sheltered location makes it easily accessible, and the gradual underwater slope provides a gentle introduction to diving for both beginners and experienced divers alike. Close to the shore lies a rocky reef teeming with marine life. You’ll find jewel anemones, sea urchins, and tube worms thriving here. Larger creatures such as John Dory and cuttlefish are frequently spotted, and friendly seals often emerge from the nearby kelp beds for a curious peek. For those lucky enough to observe them, basking sharks or pods of dolphins may also be seen.
