About this dive site

This dive site offers a versatile shore diving experience suitable for divers of all skill levels. It’s located on a working beach, frequently used by fishing boats and the local Lifeboat. Divers are advised to utilize a Surface Marker Buoy at all times due to the presence of boat traffic. The site provides opportunities for both drift dives, taking advantage of flood or ebb tides, and rewarding night diving experiences.

The dive offers a diverse underwater environment. You'll commonly encounter gobies, shannies, and dragonets. Cuttlefish are often seen during May through late summer, along with crabs (including Sponge, Spider, and Edible varieties), lobster, and nudibranchs. Occasionally, cat-sharks and rays may be spotted. The area’s tidal patterns create dynamic currents, making it a great location for experienced divers to explore.
